About the VS4-10 Portal Kit
Chassis
The VS4-10 Chassis blends scale realism with high-performance
durability, utilizing a heavy-duty steel C-channel frame that provides
exceptional rigidity and strength. Designed to endure extreme terrain
challenges, it maintains accurate scale proportions while ensuring an
optimal weight balance for superior handling. The molded front and rear
cross members reinforce key stress points while also incorporating dual
servo mounting locations, integrated winch line routing, and a detailed
scale fuel cell. Molded rock sliders with replaceable outer sections
allow easy adaptability for various body widths while adding a layer of
protection against obstacles. Additionally, the machined aluminum
panhard mount ensures precise and reliable steering geometry, while the
molded shock towers secure the 80mm Incision S8E shocks in a sturdy
double shear configuration, enhancing durability under extreme driving
conditions.
F10 Portal Axles
The F10 Portal Axles set a higher standard in durability,
clearance, and smooth power delivery, leveraging Vanquish Products’
expertise in high-performance axle design. These axles are engineered
for extreme off-road capability with a high-clearance portal
configuration that reduces the differential housing size while
maximizing ground clearance around the C-hubs and knuckles. This design
minimizes hang-ups on obstacles, improving overall traction and control
in technical terrain. The rigid one-piece molded housings integrate an
axle truss, reinforcing structural integrity while reducing flex.
Internally, machined hypoid gears provide improved gear
engagement, reduced driveline stress, and smoother power transfer. The
inclusion of brass axle tube inserts and heavy alloy portal knuckle
weights lowers the center of gravity for enhanced climbing stability.

VFD Twin Transmission

transmission features Selectable Overdrive Shifting, allowing drivers to
toggle between 6.5% standard overdrive and a high 46% overdrive,

unit enhances maneuverability by enabling rear-axle locking, allowing

A machined aluminum motor plate and VFD posts provide a stable

Suspension
The VS4-10’s suspension system is engineered for maximum
articulation, stability, and precision. Outfitted with Incision 80mm S8E
shocks, this suspension setup provides smooth travel with hard-anodized
aluminum threaded bodies, dual X-ring seals, locking preload collars,
polished steel shock shafts, and machined pistons for precise damping
characteristics. The 3-link front suspension with a panhard bar ensures
proper geometry while maintaining a scale-accurate hidden servo setup.
Meanwhile, the triangulated rear suspension enhances stability, allowing
for controlled movement over unpredictable terrain. Combined with
stainless steel links and pivot balls, the VS4-10’s suspension delivers
durability, flexibility, and predictability, ensuring consistent
