For those of you that want to build you own servo winch, we are happy to bring you the Locked UP RC Hogshead Winch Spool!

Made from 6061 Aluminum, these spools are stronger than and hold more line than a sewing bobbin screwed to a plastic horn. Because they slide right onto your servo splines, they also take up less space, making it easier to get your servo winch installed.

V2 has been updated to hold additional line and is anodized black.

Outer Diameter: 25.5mm
Drum Diameter: 9mm
Width: 10.5mm

This version has 25 splines and fits most Futaba (newer), Savox (plus some Tower/Hobbico as Futaba makes them), traxxas 2075 digital waterproof servo, HPI, HobbyKing-BlueBird, some TowerPro [mg995] and RC4WD servos. Note that this spool was designed around the Futaba S9352HV gear set. If your spool is not a good fit to your servo please contact us before installing it to prevent damage to the splines. **

The Hogshead Spool will comfortably hold 20FT +/- of our 130lb winch line.

Winch Spool

Great product direct fit no fuss mounting it to a Savox servo the winch line holes could use a small file to clean up the burrs created from drilling the holes but other than that it's a great product.

Good stuff!

I tried this spool on a few of the servos I had and the splines fit very well on all of them. No more sewing bobbins for me.
